E. Stanley Kroenke

Stan Kroenke founded THF Realty with Michael Staenberg in 1991. As chairman and owner, Mr. Kroenke leads one of the nation's most successful real estate development firms. THF Realty’s extensive portfolio includes numerous shopping centers, office buildings and industrial projects nationwide.

Mr. Kroenke’s endeavors stretch far beyond THF Realty. His real estate interests also include sports stadiums, ranches, vineyards, and warehouse and storage facilities throughout North America.

 

He was instrumental in bringing the NFL Rams to St. Louis in 1994-95. As co-owner of the Rams, Mr. Kroenke also works with the St. Louis Rams Foundation to better the St. Louis community. His love of sports has energized other communities as well, including Denver where he is owner of the Colorado Avalanche (NHL) and the Denver Nuggets (NBA).

 

Mr. Kroenke’s current and former board and trustee memberships include Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Central Bancompany, Boone County National Bank, Community Investments Partnership of St. Louis, the College of the Ozarks, Greater St. Louis Area Council - Boy Scouts of America, St. Louis Art Museum and the Missouri Basketball Hall of Fame. He is also a member of St. Louis’ Civic Progress, which provides support and leadership for various community improvements that promote economic development, education and quality of life.

 

In February 2009, Mr. Kroenke was enshrined into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.

 

He has earned numerous civic honors, including 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the 2001 City Of Clayton Businessperson Of The Year and the St. Louis Business Journal's "100 Leaders for the Millennium".

 

Mr. Kroenke is also a supporter of his alma mater, the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he earned a degree in business and a master's in business administration.
